Sortida is a discovery feed, planning tool, and ticketing marketplace for nightlife in Bucharest. We help people find what's happening tonight, plan it with friends, and walk through the door without a screenshot in their camera roll.
Why we built this
Going out in Bucharest is great. Figuring out what's on, tonight, with the people you want to see, has historically been a mess of Instagram stories, WhatsApp screenshots, three ticketing vendors, and a Google Maps tab that won't quite load. We thought the city deserved better — both the night owls and the venues that keep them up.
Sortida is what that looks like when you put it in one place: a live feed of what's happening, plans you can build with your crew, tickets that scan at the door, and a partner toolkit that doesn't require a contract.
What we believe
How we make money
When a venue sells a paid ticket through Sortida, we take a small platform fee (currently 8%). Free events cost nothing. Listings are free. We don't run third-party advertising inside the app and we don't sell user data. The platform fee is the whole business model — we want to keep it that simple.
Who's behind it
